The Wendy Thompson team did a wonderful job in helping us getting financed for a house. We were recommended to them after getting turned down by other financial institutes and they were able to work with us. We had a goal set to move in our own home by the beginning of the year and they helped make that possible for us. Wendy’s team has great communication and everyone was very helpful. They went above and beyond to help us get in our house and we are truly satisfied. I do not think we would have been able to reach our goal if it was not for them. This was my first experience in purchasing a home so I am unable to compare The Wendy Thompson Lending Team to another lender, but I would never deal with anyone else. I was warned that the actual loan process would be the biggest headache of home buying, that is not what I experienced. The entire process couldn't have gone smoother for my wife and I. We are a military family and conducted our home search from Europe. Once we focused on a property, Wendy and her team were extremely helpful guiding us through the process. We had concerns about conducting a home purchase while being an ocean away but they provided fantastic support, both electronically and by phone. We were able to complete the loan application via a very easy to use web portal and when it came time to close on our home Wendy's team had the hard copy documents to us in Europe in plenty of time to review prior to signing. There is nothing that I can type in this review that would begin to express the gratitude I feel for the Wendy Thompson Team. My husband and I were under the tightest of time constraints--we sold our house in less than one day and then had only 29 days to find and close on a new home. I was so overwhelmed with all of the horror stories I'd heard and read about delayed closings, most often as a result of human error. Wendy, Beau and the whole team at Brighton Bank are spectacular. They had the best rates and a very efficient online portal to securely fill my confidential information and upload important documents (instead of sending over emails). Once application was filed, they kept me constantly updated about required documents and other info they needed from me. I am shocked at how amazing the service is in this company. I went with another mortage company as Wendy's team unfortunately did not have the down payment assistance program I was trying to use but Wendy's team VOLUNTERED to look at the "estimation of fees" that the other company had sent me to give me their opinion.
